One to One Sessions
Private Breathwork Sessions with Aimee Hartley
Private breathwork sessions with Aimee Hartley can be experienced online via Zoom (available across global time zones) or in person at dedicated Breathing Rooms in London (Liverpool Street) and Monmouth, The Wye Valley.
Aimee brings over 15 years of experience in breath education and has trained in a wide range of breathwork disciplines, including Transformational Breath, Conscious Connected Breathing, yogic breathing practices, and the scientifically supported Oxygen Advantage® method.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to suit your individual needs and goals, drawing on techniques to support both functional breathing and emotional wellbeing. Functional breathing refers to healthy, efficient breathing patterns that optimise oxygen uptake, calm the nervous system, and support mental clarity, energy levels, and resilience.
To complement your breathwork journey, sessions may also include gentle movement, acupressure (light touch), visualisations, and positive intention setting – all designed to help you access a fuller, healthier, and more conscious breath.
“Aimee teaches the art of truly deep breathing in a comfortable and charming environment. Breathing correctly gives me more energy, helps me relax and feel less stressed”.
Philip Anderson, Director, European Leaders Ltd
What to Expect in Your Introductory Session
Your first session begins with a short consultation to explore your current breathing habits and what you’re hoping to achieve – whether that’s:
- Improving your respiratory function for more energy
- Letting go of emotional tension
- Enhancing focus and concentration
- Cultivating deep relaxation and nervous system balance
Aimee will assess your natural breathing pattern, helping you identify any dysfunctional habits (such as mouth breathing, upper chest breathing, or over-breathing) that may be affecting your physical and emotional wellbeing. Through gentle, practical guidance, you’ll be introduced to the connected breath pattern alongside functional breathing techniques drawn from the Oxygen Advantage®.
You’ll practise the techniques lying down, supported by pillows and blankets, in a safe and relaxing environment. Acupressure points around the respiratory muscles may be activated to release physical tension, while toning (vocal sound) and gentle movement may support emotional release.
At the end of your breath practice, you’ll return to your natural rhythm for a period of deep integration and relaxation, allowing your body and mind to fully process the experience. Aimee will then share practical ways to build a breathwork routine at home, tailored to your needs.

“The importance of breathing need hardly be stressed. It provides the oxygen for the metabolic processes; literally it supports the fires of life. But breath as “pneuma” is also the spirit or soul. We live in an ocean of air like fish in a body of water. By our breathing we are attuned to our atmosphere. If we inhibit our breathing we isolate ourselves from the medium in which we exist. In all Oriental and mystic philosophies, the breath holds the secret to the highest bliss.“
