“I recently attended a Transformational Breathing workshop with Aimee Hartley. Despite regularly practicing yoga and pranayama I was experiencing chronic tightness in my solar plexus and had the feeling that I wasn’t accessing my full lung capacity. During the workshop Aimee assessed my breathing and pointed out that I had quite a bit of tension that was blocking my ability to breath more fully. At first I found it quite challenging to let go of my habitual way of breathing, but after some practice, I began to surrender to the technique. I felt quite emotional and overwhelmed, but there was always a trainer nearby to offer coaching and encouragement and so I felt I could trust the process. Imagery, memories and emotions emerged in an organic way. I was encouraged to simple focus and stay with the breath. After some time, I began to feel more relaxed and joyful.
